When you call to schedule your first appointment at Hunter Chiropractic Collective, we will send you a link to complete your new patient paperwork online. This saves you time in the office and allows you to fill in the forms at your convenience.
Your First Visit
When you step into our friendly, relaxed space, our receptionist will greet you with a smile and answer any questions you may have, before showing you our welcome video. Then you’ll meet with our chiropractor, Dr Heidi Upneck-Nel, who will talk with you about your reasons for coming in and your health history. She’ll conduct a thorough examination, including orthopaedic, neurological and chiropractic assessments, to help identify the underlying cause of your symptoms. If she deems it necessary, she will refer you for X-rays (which will be bulk-billed).
In some cases where X-rays are not needed, Heidi may provide an adjustment at this visit. However, the decision to do so depends on your specific condition.
Your Second Visit
Prior to your next visit, Heidi will review all your examination results and any X-rays. When you return, she’ll go over her findings and explain what’s going on with your health, and offer her recommendations for care going forward. Your care plan will be fully customised to meet your needs and goals, and Heidi may offer at-home recommendations to facilitate your healing.
Fees
We require a $45.00 deposit from all new patients. This will be applied to your initial consultation. If you miss your appointment, this fee is non-refundable. We welcome EPC and DVA patients, and we have HICAPS available.
